This 8-day Egypt tour combines a Nile cruise with the highlights of Cairo. Start with the Giza Pyramids, the Grand Egyptian Museum and Old Cairo, then fly to Luxor for Karnak and Luxor Temples, the West Bank's Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut Temple, sailing to Edfu and Kom Ombo, on to Aswan's High Dam and Philae, ending with the magnificent temples of Abu Simbel.

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Your tour manager meets you at Cairo International Airport and escorts you to your hotel in an air-conditioned deluxe vehicle. Smooth check-in and review of your itinerary.

Day 2: Pyramids & Grand Egyptian Museum
Visit the Giza Plateau — the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus, the Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Lunch at a quality restaurant, then the Grand Egyptian Museum. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 3: Egyptian Museum, Citadel & Coptic Cairo
Visit the Egyptian Museum, then the Saladin Citadel including the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque. Continue to Coptic Cairo for the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue.

Day 4: Fly to Luxor — Embark Nile Cruise

Day 5: Luxor West Bank — Sail to Edfu
